CHARGES

 

Hourly Rate -  £10.00

 

This rate covers all searches irrespective of which service you are asking for.

 

Additional costs include car trips at 35 pence per mile and train fares where we will take the cheapest ticket possible.

 

Please note that additional costs may be incurred if we have to purchase a document to confirm that we have found your correct ancestor.

 

We keep in regular contact with our clients to advise them of progress and always ask for written consent and agree costs prior to making a trip.

 

Where possible we will combine work from several clients to make one trip, to a repository office for example, and split the cost of the trip between the clients.

 

We also offer the discount opportunity to purchase 20 hours of work for the price of 15 hours. If you choose to accept this opportunity, we will require full payment for the 15 hours in advance.

 

We therefore ask for a additional sum of £50 in advance to be used for making such purchases and if necessary will ask you to top up this fund as an when necessary. A receipt for all expenses will be provided to you.

 

We promise never to make any unnecessary purchases and all clients are contacted in advance of having to make any such purchase to gain their consent.
